Ceramic insulators are traditional electrical insulation devices primarily made from electrical ceramics such as alumina and zirconia. They are manufactured through a high-temperature sintering process, and their surfaces are often coated with a glaze to improve pollution resistance. The core structure consists of an iron cap, a ceramic body, and a steel pin, all bonded together with cement adhesive. These insulators are widely used in power transmission lines, substations, and industrial electrostatic precipitators.
